Please Pray For His Soul

If you pray for Ian, please make sure to pray for his spiritual health. Pray that he would find his happiness in God, and that he would keep his eyes on Jesus. Pray that he would be comforted and strengthened emotionally. He is having a more difficult time than anyone else is.

Ian is unable to walk, talk (he communicates "yes" or "no" through blinking), or perform other forms of normal daily living, so keep praying for his physical healing as well.

Thank you again so much.

-Ben

Ian. You can do this. Not because of who you are, or how far you have come, or what you have left. You can do this because of the one thing you can never loose. God has brought you so far already. He will not leave you now. You live in the grace of God and people stand in wonder. You can do this.

"Now may the God of peace make you (Ian) holy in every way, and may your (Ian's) whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless until that day when our Lord Jesus Christ comes again. God who calls you (Ian), is faithful; He will do this." "And may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with all of you (Murphy's/Larissa)." 1Thessalonians 5:23,28

Oh Ian, How it grieves me that you must endure this great trial.
For the last twenty years in different settings and sitations a recurring word has been spoked over me, "lift up your eyes. Look up." The incredible song, "I will lift up my eyes above the trouble in this land". I wish could remember what the title is. I am sure you know, being a worship leader. That is what you are you know. I don't write much any more, but I know God created me to be a writer, so hence, I am. In whatever state of mind or body, you are a worship leader, ONE of the God ordained callings on your life. We are who HE has created us to be, because that is his doing not ours.

So, as I wrote above, fix your spiritual eyes above the trouble in you life. Regardless of you current situation. You ARE who He has created you to be. Your inner man, has already bowed low before His thone and accepted His grace. I will pray you find the strength that His grace provides to stand tall in the spirit and to keep your gaze fixated on our glorious savior; and to continue on being the man He created you to be. All of that is in your spirit, not the frailness of our earthly bodies. I love you my son, student, and friend. You are always near my heart. Sandy Kimmel

Psalm 33:13-22:
13 The Lord looks down from heaven;he sees all the children of man; 14 from where he sits enthroned he looks out on all the inhabitants of the earth, 15 he who fashions the hearts of them all and observes all their deeds. 16 The king is not saved by his great army; a warrior is not delivered by his great strength. 17 The war horse is a false hope for salvation, and by its great might it cannot rescue. 18 Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him,on those who hope in his steadfast love, 19 that he may deliver their soul from death and keep them alive in famine. 20 Our soul waits for the Lord;he is our help and our shield. 21 For our heart is glad in him, because we trust in his holy name. 22 Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us,even as we hope in you.
These words read by me a few days ago remind me that we cannot ease up praying for Ian's health, his spirit to walk through his daily trials, and especially for God to visit with him in these special times and be the "glory and the lifter of his head". Lord Jesus hear our cries for this special brother in Christ!Jesus cause Ian to show your joy.....
