I was reading through the "Let Ian KNow You're Praying Post" and was gently reminded by God of how many of you are still praying for Ian. It doesn't make any sense- most of you don't know us. And if you're anything like me, you wouldn've moved on to praying about something else by now. But I was so encouraged to think of all of the people praying with us, from all over the country.
I'm praying that one day Ian can write on this blog himself and thank you for your faithfulness to him.
Ian did a great job at therapy yesterday. I'm not sure on the details. Friday is aqua therapy and botox.
This photo is from a wonderful photographer who did David and Sarah's wedding.

Oh Yes, we are still most certainly praying! I have been following this blog for over a year and have been faithfully praying. I am so encouraged by the progress Ian has made so far. I pray one day I will read and it will say: "Ian spoke today". And we will dance and sing praises to our God Most High once again. For we already do because he has redeemed us and we already do because he has saved Ian and because each of your lives is such a testimony of God's grace!

Dear Larissa,
What really doesn't make any sense is that God hasn't "moved on" from us. There is no reason that makes sense in our human minds for His continued love and faithfulness to us; no reason for the Son to keep interceding to the Father on our behalf; no reason for Him to forgive us over and over again. It is this unexplainable love & faithfulness flowing through His children that leads us to continue to pray for someone we hardly know. I often find thoughts of you and Ian going through my mind that lead me to prayer. Just last night as I was getting ready for bed and packing up to leave for the Worship God conference thoughts of you and Ian came to mind and I was praying for both of you. I believe that someday there will be great rejoicing throughout the kingdom of God across the whole world when Ian is healed. Be encouraged that you are bringing great glory to God and encouragement to other believers as you persevere and do not lose faith in the midst of this long trial.
Continuing to pray . . . .

Hello,
Just wanted to encourage you with this- you are doing exactly what you need to be doing...provoking others to see God's goodness every day in every trial. Keep standing and never give up, for the one who loves you most is with you always!
Why are we praying? I don't know about anyone else, but for me - it is because I BELIEVE! First off that in God's time, Ian will come back to you all, and also that God will continue to give each of you the courage and strength you need. And, yes, I am really looking forward to the day when Ian writes his first post on this site!!!
Prayers are still coming from my church, as well, where Ian has been on our prayer list since shortly after his accident.
Love and prayers, Rene
Thanks for posting. Though we have never met, I still care about Ian, his family and those caring for him. I will continue to pray and check your blog to see how our Lord is working it all out. Thanks for your example of resting and trusting in none other than Jesus Christ.

Larissa, you and Ian look beautiful at David's wedding! We pray, because the battle really ours. He Won we just have to keep remembering that. His love never ceases His mercies never come to an end, they are new EVERY morning. Great is His Faithfulness. Please tell everyone I send my love, Eileen
YOu don't know me, but I learned about this blog from both The Blazing Center and Radical Womanhood. I had been checking on this from quite sometime. This is awesome to read your blog online about Pray for Ian.
I can see your true love for him and waiting for him to response soon. This is very rare finding.
I want to encourage you all to hang in there and trust in the Lord for the outcome.
I am praying for him and for you and his family.
In Christ Alone,

I am not even from your country..am from a wonderful place in sunny africa, but because of what Christ did on the cross, you are my sister and we will continue to pray..Thank God we are assured of having a glorious eternity to get to know each other, even if we never meet on this side of heaven:-)
And we are all imperfect! Just dwell on the faithfullness of He that is perfect!!
God will and always does bless.
Keep working hard Ian!!

We pray because we want to! We share our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ! Christ died for us so that others may live! To know Jesus would gladly give up his life so that Ian may continue to live-is awesome!-Noone knows what may happen to them next in this life-to see the outpouring of prayers and love for the Murphy family, Ian and you is heartwarming and inspiring! We are truly watching Our God at work! This is why we pray! We all BELIEVE!

Great post, Larissa!
I checked the link and the pictures of David and Sarah are so nice! They look so very happy!
Have you ever written a company about its product, good or bad? I've heard it said for every letter received by a company for their products, there are 1,000 others who feel the same way but don't write. Maybe it's the same way with blogging? Which would mean for every post, there may be about 1,000 people who are reading and praying!
:-)
There are many, but here is a Scripture that is a simple and concise command on prayer:
I Thes. 5
v16 Rejoice always, v17 pray without ceasing, v18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
Still Praying!
