Thank you everyone who responded to my post last night. While I'm writing this, there are exactly 300 comments- that's incredible. And I know that's not a full list of everyone who is praying. Ian would gladly lay down his life so that any of us could learn more about our Savior. That's what's happening now and these comments are an example to me of that.

Thank you all

Laris

Larissa,
It is so funny, but when I work around the house I tend to pray for Ian. In the garden, mowing the grass, washing the car...It reminds me that he would much prefer to do these things then be in bed, I also know in God's timing he will be healed.
Hold tight to the One who holds your future for He loves you most.

Larissa,
Thank you so much for your testimony and the testimony of the Murphy's. In the end if that is all we have....it is all we need. You are living that out and I pray the Lord blesses you for that. We continue to pray for Ian's healing.

Dear Ian(and family),

It is so hard for me to picture you as a man...in my mind you are the the little boy who took over my little brother, Jimmy's, paper route. I didn't think you were big enough to pull that heavy wagon full of newspapers!

Things sure have changed so much since then and God has shown us His love and perfect timing over and over.

I read this blog almost daily and will continue to pray for you and your family.

Make that 335. I didn't sign in yesterday.

I was reading Spurgeon's Morning entry. He mentions the Scripture,

"Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yea, they may forget, yet will I never forget thee."

As a mother, I have nursed a child, and the question that the Spirit poses is essentially, "Can a mother forget the child she has nursed?" and it seems rhetorical. Of course not. Never. Not possible. But then He goes on to, completely, contradict my instinctual answer; Yes, she can.
And then He goes on to promise, that even though she may forget her child, He never will his.

It seems as if God is going to extremes, again, here to tell us the depths of His love for us; for Ian. As impossible as it may seem, a mother may forget the son of her womb; but He will NEVER forget or forsake His own. Is there a more vivid image of human sacrificial love, than a woman feeding her child, from her own body, day and night, hour after hour, until he no longer needs it? It's difficult to imagine one, and yet the Lord says, here, that His love and compassion far exceeds even hers.

I love that about the Spirit and His word. He goes to extremes to tells us, over and over again, of the extremes the Father has gone to for us. We have no reason to fear for Ian. This is the God who loves Him.

Praying for his return,
Kristi

Ian
I am not sure what is happening today-but as I reached for my computer to check on you and Larissa-God said stop and pray immediately for you. As I did I cannot help but hope you are at a crossroads for recovery and that with all you have done so far-God has decided you are ready for the big work to begin to bring you back in His glory to help spread The Word with Larissa! May God's Healing Hands Hold You, Heal You, Help you and Love you as you recover!

Ian and Larissa,
It was wonderful to meet you at Nate and Laura's wedding. It's been great to finally meet you when I've only seen pictures, heard stories and have been udpated by the blog. I join with all of you in faith and in love praying for Ian and believing for full restoration of everyone ounce, every cell of him. Our God is truly a God of miracles and I'm believing that for the both of you. Larissa, I want to say to you that I am overwhelmed by the love that you have for Ian. God bless you both and greetings to the rest of the family & friends that I've not met.

In Him,
Julie Kosoglow
