I was thinking today that it would be really cool to be able to read to Ian a list of the people who are reading this blog and praying for him. So, if you read the blog and pray for Ian, leave a comment on this post with your name and where you're from. I think it would be very encouraging for him as well as for us.
Thank you again for praying.

I have an RSS feed of the blog so I am updated and do pray and praise God for the updates about Ian.

Thank you everyone for posting on this blog. It has been a tremendous encouragement to myself. Thank you for the example of trusting God and obeying him in faith in the early darkest days and days now when it seems the sun is waiting to burst forth.

Ian, I'm praying for you to wake up but only when God wakes you. It is encouraging to see the work God has done in a short amount of time and it spurs on even more prayers. But we desire a complete healing Lord because we think that will bring you the most glory.

Psalm 109:21,26,27

But you, O God my Lord,
deal on Ian's behalf for your name's sake; because your steadfast love is good, deliver Ian!

Help Ian, O Lord my God!
Save Ian according to your steadfast love!
Let them know that this is your hand; you, O Lord, have done it!

I Will Lift My Eyes Lyrics
(Bebo Norman)
God, my God, I cry out
Your beloved needs You now
God, be near, calm my fear
And take my doubt

Your kindness is what pulls me up
Your love is all that draws me in

I will lift my eyes to the Maker
Of the mountains I can’t climb
I will lift my eyes to the Calmer
Of the oceans raging wild
I will lift my eyes to the Healer
Of the hurt I hold inside
I will lift my eyes, lift my eyes to You

God, my God, let Mercy sing
Her melody over me
God, right here all I bring
Is all of me

‘Cause You are and You were and You will be forever
The Lover I need to save me
‘Cause You fashioned the earth and You hold it together, God
So hold me now

Ian was my family group leader at Na last year and I work with Steve. I read this blog every day and pray often for Ian as well as for his family and for you, Larissa. Your steadfast faith in God as you have walked through this never ceases to amaze me. I know that I cannot imagine responding to this trial in the way that you have because I am not experiencing God's grace in the measure that you are. God is certainly supplying you with the exact amount of grace needed for this exact situation.
I entered into a courtship myself three months ago which has enabled me to better understand the love that you feel for Ian and has also made me stand more in awe at how well you have trusted God through this storm. I am often amazed at the posts you write and wonder if I would respond the same way if God asked me to walk through what you are walking through. It is so easy to make an idol out of a relationship with someone. Thank you for your example and inspiration to hold loosely to everything and everyone here on earth and to cherish God and those things that are eternal above all.

Jana Emeigh is our daughter and she and Ian are on our refrigerator. We even passed out the picture to others too to remind them to pray. God is so good and we will trust in Him!

We attend church with the Bergers. We have been reading the blog and praying for all of you since the accident. At Na this year, Emily introduced us to Ben, and this past Tuesday we met a family friend that is in New Orleans with a group from Covenant Life. (He noticed the bumper sticker on our fridge.)

Been praying for Ian, you, and his family since I heard what happened. I got to know Ian a bit while in college at IUP. He's quite the amazing man. I know God is still blessing him and teaching him and He's gonna wake up and tell you all about it!

Steve and Mary, Ian and Larrisa and other Murphyites.

I am a friend of your parents from high School and have been checking the blog every day. Our son, matthew, prays every night for "Ian and his family".
Our daughter, Erin, has DS and she probably prays in her own way.

Thank you for keeping us posted on your recovery. We are expecting the day that Ian is totally recovered and running and leaping and praising God.

I have been challenged and spurred on by the godly example you all are setting as you walk through this trial. It is doing much in people's hearts as you consistently remind us of Who God is and what our response is to be. Thank you.

Ian,

I am a friend of the Lotinsky family at Covenant Life Church in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

I pray for you and those close to you for God's sustaining grace as well as for healing. It looks like God has been glorified already in the the beautiful display of self-sacrificing love all around you. God has done so much already, we can trust Him for more!

Rom 8:32-"He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?"

Hi. Larissa and the rest of the Family. I was linked from the Solo Femininity Blog during Valentine's Day. And I've been stopping by faithfully ever since. I must say God and I have had some SERIOUS heart-to-hearts about Ian ever since that day I was linked to this site.

Praying for Ian everyday and often more than that when the thought of him crosses my mind. Which is quite often.

God Bless.
