Glad to hear Ian is home. Praise God he will be with you guys everyday. No more driving back and forth to Pittsburgh constantly. Praying with you guys that the comforts of home will stir him and wake him up.

This day must have had so many emotions come with it.
I am so glad he is home. No more long drives to Pittsburgh.

You must have been trained well to care for Ian because although you said you klutzed around, it sounded like you did a great job, and Ian was glad to be home.

Praise God that round-the-clock care was approved... Now we just need to pray that staffing will start...

Thank you for taking the time to update us in the midst of your very full, exhausting day.

Always praying...

I've never met any of you , but found this blog on my computer that someone else must have looked up and have been following since ( a few mos. now ). I am a caregiver for a young man who is alot like your sweet Ian. Thanks for sharing Ian's story with us. I am praying for him and you all and Praising our Lord Jesus for Ian's continuing recovery.

So excited for what this news represents. I continue to pray for Ian every day, and that God would use this new addition to your home to heal him completely. "We who have fled for refuge have a strong encouragement; to hold fast to the hope God as set before us." Hebrews 6:18b-19

I was thinking of all of you off and on all day yesterday and praying for you often. So glad to hear that Ian is finally home and that his transport went well. You may feel like you are "klutzing" your way through. However, God has designed you guys to be able to care for Ian better than anyone in many ways as you have the greatest love for Ian and his very best interest at heart. He will guide your every step and give you wisdom when you feel your lack of it. I am continuing to pray for Ian to wake up!

Welcome home Ian. I hope you have a nice day and enjoy your family all around you. I'm really glad your home. Lydia kept telling me you were coming home during our bike ride. She was really happy!
I will keep praying for you every night.

I am from Indiana, PA though I have many people. I know many people that go to church with you and your family, but I have not met any of you. I have been reading this site daily since I found out about it and I have been praying for all of you. I don't know why I haven't posted up until this point, but I felt like today I should welcome Ian home.
Welcome home, Ian!

I will continue to daily pray that Ian wakes up and for God to continue to give you strength and many blessings each day.

It is great to see that Ian is home! Just a few lyrics from an amazing worship song...

In the chaos, in confusion
I know You’re Sovereign still
In the moment of my weakness
You give me grace to do Your will

There is no one else for me
None but Jesus
Crucified to set me free
Now I live to bring Him praise

I pray for you an ever increasing confidence in caring for Ian, an ever increasing confidence that God has the solution before you even know to ask the question, and that the surroundings of home and family will bring a sense of peace to Ian as he continues to wake up.

Every time I come here, I sense the presence of God. Often it is so strong that it leaves me in tears. I know you would not have asked for this unusual ministry, but please know that all of us as your audience are learning and growing with you. We appreciate that you are so real and honest about the questions, the perplexions, the tiring wait for life to return to normal. May God give you "strength as your day" as you develop "a new normal". I'm just one more person who doesn't know you, but who follows the blog prayerfully. This really is the family of God!
