I never thought that Ian would still be in a coma when he came home, but then again, after the first few days in the hospital we didn't think he'd come home again at all. Praise God for all of the countless miracles He has performed in Ian's life. Ian is still with us! God is forever true to His promises and, as Charles Spurgeon says so well, God would sooner cease to be than cease to be faithful.
We are bringing Ian home with or without the driveway. Please pray that the driveway would be completed soon however, to make transportation more convenient. The agency we are hoping to use seems to really be working on getting the amount of staffing together that we need. They are tentatively going to hire a family friend, Frank, to be a full-time worker with Ian. Please continue to pray that funding and staffing would be approved for 24/7 care.
Thank you for faithfully praying with us for seven months
I can see a light that is coming for the heart that holds on
And there will be an end to these troubles
But until that day comes
Still I will praise You, still I will praise You

Larissa,
I am so thankful to Our Precious Lord and Saviour for the opportunity to have met you. Jesus shines so brightly through you, your faith is clearly strong, your love is deep, and you are clearly being showered by God's Grace.
I am also thankful that Ian has been given a praying, faithful, and godly woman like yourself. One does not need to know you, to see your love for Jesus and the unconditional love you have for Ian. In meeting you, only for a glimpse of time, I have seen faith in action. I, as well, as our family, are praying for Ian, his family, and yourself. Ian's story has touched our lives, and we are thankful for it. We count it a privilege to be able to pray for Ian, the driveway completion, and a complete healing. I am also praying that God would put a song in his heart continually.
The body of Christ...wow...what a beautiful gift!
Love in Christ Jesus,

"I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live, yet not I, but Christ liveth in me; and the life that I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." Galatians 2:20
We want you to know that we still read the blog every day, and every day you (Larissa, Steve, and the rest of the family) preach the gospel to us by allowing us to see into your struggle and by your example of your faith in our good and kind and loving God. We are still praying often for Ian's healing and for all of you. Gina Plain (CCL)
Larissa,
Thank you for your faith!
What a mighty God we serve! If you happened to be in the Murphy neighborhood and just happened to look towards their house you would see God's answer to Larissa's and others prayers. Work on the driveway is in progress!
Thank you Jesus...........
Still praying in faith with you all. And, to whoever takes those incredible pictures of Lydia ... You are a very gifted photographer. You could photograph my kids anytime. :) Love, Janet S.
