We have a very urgent prayer request- early this afternoon, Steve started having seizures. Long story short, he was lifeflighted and we are now back at UPMC Presby. During one of the brain scans, they found a tumor on his brain the size of a squished orange and it is bleeding. He is now heading into surgery to remove the pressure in his brain and then eventually remove the tumor.
Not able to process any of this yet and personally not even knowing what to pray. Please lift Steve up in your prayers, as well as Mary and the rest of the family. Everyone is here but Lydia.
We will try to keep you posted after the surgery.
He was fine this morning. It's unbelievable and we have no idea what tomorrow or even the next hour will bring.
Thank you, please pray
Larissa

I know I will likely be one of the first of hundreds who comment letting you all know you're in our prayers. Got the news via K.Herman (my SIL) who passed on the prayer chain that Kathy sent to the church. Have been praying all evening and will continue to intercede on your all's behalf. Trusting that GOd has gone before you even in this and has His loving Hand upon you all.
Everyone is lifting all of you up in prayer. "Let your hearts not be trouble - neither be afraid" Steve is in God's loving hands.
With much prayer, Rene
Steve and your whole family is in my prayers. May God heal him and give comfort to the Murphy family.
Know that God wasn't caught unaware or unprepared. Praying....
I'll be praying.

Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, Who has loved us and given us eternal comfort and good hope by grace, comfort and strengthen your hearts in every good work and word. 2Thessalonians 2:16,17
Keeping you in all in prayer and may His Peace be yours. With Hope in Him!
I am praying! God is faithful. We know this through the faith we have been given in the Unseen yet All-Knowing God. And when we reach Eternity, we will see with our eyes what we perceived through the Holy Spirit beforehand.
John 13:7
Jesus answered him, “What I am doing you do not understand now, but afterward you will understand.”
God moves in a mysterious way
His wonders to perform;
He plants His footsteps in the sea
And rides upon the storm.
Deep in unfathomable mines
Of never failing skill
He treasures up His bright designs
And works His sovereign will.
Ye fearful saints, fresh courage take;
The clouds ye so much dread
Are big with mercy and shall break
In blessings on your head.
Judge not the Lord by feeble sense,
But trust Him for His grace;
Behind a frowning providence
He hides a smiling face.
His purposes will ripen fast,
Unfolding every hour;
The bud may have a bitter taste,
But sweet will be the flower.
Blind unbelief is sure to err
And scan His work in vain;
God is His own interpreter,
And He will make it plain.
~ William Cowper
Just read your note about Steve. We are getting word out through our church prayer mail (Covenant of Grace Church, Akron.) The young adult care group is meeting tonight. Many of them know Steve from his days of leading youth camp. We are getting word to them so that they can pray.
The Lord bless you and keep you.....
Oh Lord please give this family strength and the doctors wisdom as they try to help Steve.
I am so sad to hear of this news and will pray for all of you.
With tears-
