still in our prayers,Mike & Regina FrenzelMinnesota
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil; for Thou art with me. Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me. Thou dost prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; Thou hast anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows. Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Amen and Amen!we love you, all the Halls
Praying... for as long as it takes, full of hope, trusting in the Lord and His goodness.Vicki G.
Still praying and believing.
know that my entire church prayed for ian tonite...whether knowingly or not. we had a man give a testimony of a friend that was in a very similar accident this past friday...our pastor asked him to stand before the church as a representative for this young man...and he also asked anyone else who felt led to come and stand as a representative for someone who needs physical healing...so, my church prayed healing over ian's life tonite. it will come.
II Corinthians 4:1 Therefore, having this ministry by the mercy of God, we do not lose heart.7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us. 8 We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; 9 persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; 10 always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies.YOU have a great ministry, Ian, and the life of Jesus is in your body! There is a great crowd of witnesses above and here on earth that are applauding your every accomplishment that you make, by God's mercy!Stay strong, Ian, and push forward.Still praying every day for you, your family and Larissa!Mary Ann K.
Mine too.You may not see it so clearly, but you all have and Ian come SO far in a year and this blog is testimony to that. Carry on this path you have begun. The Lord who started with you is still with you and will be till the end.Liz, UK

I can only imagine what you all must be going through, but I know that God is faithful to those who trust Him. I was going through some really hard things with a boyfriend last year, and my best friends told me this: GOD IS GOD AND GOD IS GOOD. Praying always....Carleigh Ann
Can't imagine how difficult these past days must have been for all of you. Know that you are not forgotten and that there is an army of believers out here who are praying for Ian, for healing, for comfort along the path to healing, and for each precious person in your family. Thank you for your faithfulness.
We'll pray for as long as it takes. God is good in all He does. He has a plan. Your life and example has been so beautiful and so loudly shows the faithfulness of our God. Thank you. The Gallos
I remember getting a call from Kiera a year ago this weekend. I remember walking around campus all fall, finding myself in prayer at the oddest places and times. I remember being deeply affected by Ian's accident, I who hardly know him in comparison to so many others. Through sparing Ian's life, God was glorified. His great mercy, love, and power was demonstrated. God used Ian to draw me closer to Christ, when he was in Lancaster and led my family group at Na in 2006, and then again through his accident.I am reminded of a Dave Harvey sermon, talking about looking up and looking back. You all, the Murphy family, Larissa, and close friends, have been a testimony of this. A testimony of looking up out of your circumstances to God, back to the Cross, and back to God's grace and faithfulness in each of your lives and in Ian's life."He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?" Rom. 8:32Sarah Sensenig (CrossWay - Lancaster)
