Larissa and Ian, I stumbled upon your blog today. In a strange way...from looking at Christmas gifts on Etsy to seeing your bridesmaids dress order, on over to lydia janes to check out more photos of said dresses, then to this blog. I've been reading since this morning.
I've cried countless times while reading and continue to tear up writing this. Love is one of God's purest gifts. It's amazing to see through the layers and layers of trials, tribulations and the unexpected that love has a place. Love and God can conquer all.
I am a spiritual person who believes in God and reading your last 4 years just reminds me how I need to be thankful and count the many blessings in my life. Too often do I get distracted and worry about my life plans not working out exactly like I wanted.
Today, I was reminded to take a step back, recognize that God takes the lead on this life and to trust in divine timing and order. This blog is such a beautiful story of love and trust in God and who we call family and friends.
Thank you for nudging me closer to God. I think he knew exactly to how to show me I was loosing my way.
