Great peace have they who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble.
The Word gives peace in a world of turmoil and comfort in times of trouble. The verse doesn't mean that believers are immune from sorrow in this world, but that nothing will overcome them since nothing can separate us from Jesus if we are true believers. (Romans 8:38-39)
Steve is a memory to us even though we have never met him. His memory permeates our daily lives, it gives us a sense of purpose and hope. We thank him.
Praying that God's grace will surround all of Steve's family today, giving them strength and protection for the day.
...praying tearfully for MORE grace, MORE peace, MORE comfort!
How hard at times and frustrating it must be for you, Larissa, and for Ian to have to relive losing Steve, to explain his passing again.
Heavenly Father, please heal Ian's memory. Have mercy on Ian, Larissa and the Murphys. Strengthen them, Lord. Meet their needs, Father. Work mightily in their lives. Pour out blessings on them. In Jesus name.
LARISSA..I CAN NOT HELP BUT PRAY..GOD CONTINUES TO REMIND ME. MY HEART ACHES FOR YOU ALL.. SO I CAN ONLY IMAGINE WHAT GOD FEELS FOR YOU.AND YES DEAR IAN I WILL PRAY FOR REMARKABLE AND TRUSTWORTHY RECALL.
May God surround all of you with His precense and his loving arms! May you find comfort in the memory of Steve and patience to spend your days on earth until you can be reunited with Steve in God's home!
He giveth more grace as our burdens grow greater, He sendeth more strength as our labors increase; To added afflictions He addeth His mercy, To multiplied trials He multiplies peace.
When we have exhausted our store of endurance, When our strength has failed ere the day is half done, When we reach the end of our hoarded resources Our Father’s full giving is only begun.
Fear not that thy need shall exceed His provision, Our God ever yearns His resources to share; Lean hard on the arm everlasting, availing; The Father both thee and thy load will upbear.
His love has no limits, His grace has no measure, His power no boundary known unto men; For out of His infinite riches in Jesus He giveth, and giveth, and giveth again.

A dear friend of mine, who was quite a lover of the chase, told me the following story: “Rising early on morning,” he said, “I heard the baying of a score of deerhounds in pursuit of their quarry. Looking away to a broad, open field in front of me, I saw a young fawn making its way across, and giving signs, moreover, that its race was well-nigh run. Reaching the rails of the enclosure, it leaped over and crouched within ten feet of where I stood. A moment later two of the hounds came over. The fawn ran in my direction and pushed its head between my legs. I lifted the little thing to my breast, and, swinging round and round, fought off the dogs. I felt, just then, that all the dogs in the West could not, and should not capture that fawn after its weakness had appealed to my strength.” So it is, when human helplessness appears to Almighty God. Well do I remember when the hounds of sin were after my soul, until, at last, I ran into the arms of Almighty God. [A.C. Dixon]
It is good to have a specific prayer request (keep em commin'!!). grateful for His gifts, HveHope

* Father God in Heaven, I agree that You are a Good Father–the best Parent in the Universe. I agree that Your love is infallible and unfailing, and I join in praising You for Who You are. I believe that in Your mysterious ways we can trust good is being accomplished even in what seems from Earth’s point of view, a tragedy. ...for in Your arms there is life and peace and joy more euphoric than anything we know or could imagine.

I really miss him too.
I am praying right now...
Thank you for telling us how to specifically pray. I feel so helpless. At least I can pray.

Praying that God's grace will surround all of Steve's family today, giving them strength and protection for the day.
