"I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in Him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in me he is thrown away like a branch and withers, and the branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned. If you abide in me and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you."

-John 15:5-7

What a good verse to post. Apart from Christ I can do nothing, which is what jumps out to me from that verse. My understanding of "ask whatever you wish..." well, I don't think I fully understand that one yet. But God is omnipotent, loving, full of grace and mercy, tender...this I do know, so I wait until He shows/does for us what He says He will do. He is God, and I don't need to understand all He says in light of our situations, but just ask for the faith/patience to leave it to His best time. Love to all Murphy's. Gretchen
